We took Shimi out for a little walk this afternoon she loves the front lawn under the trees and watching our neighbors horses. Shimi was the matriarch of our farm for eighteen years she has jumped on the backs of many of our horses in the past if only she could talk and tell all of her many story’s...

One of the first things we did on our farm is to plant close to two hundred trees and they are nearly twenty years old now. Our farm working dogs and Shimi like to sit under trees on our front lawn and enjoy the park like setting . This is Victoria enjoying the breeze in the shade....

We still are getting only Japanese black prince tomatoes, we will be making some bruschetta and herbed roasted chicken....

We have hundreds of green tomatoes waiting to ripen. Our friends Paul and Nancy White are tentatively scheduled for July 14&15 to do some major processing and canning but with nature it’s kinda a stand by date....

We are growing two types of melons this year one is called melon Kajari a very unusual melon form central India tri colored copper red yellow green honeydew flesh colored it took a seed savor eight years to find this rare seed, we also are growing American delicious 51 melon oval round mush melon...
