Today we decided to do some cleaning of the poultry barn. We have some really heavy stall mats down and we need to move them out and clean and we find all kinds of critters and my working hens are always close by to eat all the insects we uncover....

We had farm entertainment we laughed so hard as we had our dinner out on the patio as a old rooster battled a young one through the fence with an open gate right next to them but it was easier to fight through a fence rather than go through the gate. We just love the farm....

While collecting today's eggs I dropped my basket and cracked a few so our working farm dogs get a treat....

This guy hung out on our cieling in the house for about a week and when he started down the wall that's when we put him outside. He made a nest and caught of all things a tomato worm. Life on a farm friends and foes come in all sizes....
