Sowing our seeds k
We had a great day on the farm today. We planted some of our farm grown spicy garlic as well as perilla a.k.a. Shiso, three different types green red hojiso,red shiso , and at shiso green some of may have tasted this with sushi these plants originated in Japan over 300 years ago and are very good for your digestive tracks.we also planted michlhli Chinese cabbage, some purple radish, Chinese red meat radish and some chioggia beats all hierloom and of course organic. We also planted more onion seeds this time flat of Italy a red cipollini that dates back to 1885 , also some carrots cosmic purple. It’s a lot of fun researching for all these unique rare seeds and we have to order them so early we forget what we have so it’s always fun and exciting to see what’s growing in our gardens.
