"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Dinners done

We used our Cabernet juice to reduce the balsamic down , dinner was great we got the idea from our recent Tahoe vacation on the ruambouer lake dinner cruise....

Exciting day on the farm

I found this oriole bird stuck in the vineyard bird netting and then I did research on both of these critters and the California king snake can and will kill rattle snakes as well as rodents eand birds....

On the menu tonight

We are having hearts of romaine over balsamic reduction with crumbled organic pastured red wattle farm beacon with chunks of hierloom tomatoes and pickled farm onions ,dressing made from farm made mayo blue cheese dressing and of course O happy bread fresh French bread....

Free range chickens

We keep our garden beds surrounded by wire to keep the critters out but every now and then we open them up and let the chickens do pest control....
