"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Heirloom tomato gardens

We are trying tomato cages this year to try and contain the wild heirloom tomato jungle. We are trying four different ones and need to purchase a few more. We were surprised at how the plants rebounded from the 31 degree freeze we had one night....

On the menu tonight

It has been in the 90’s here and when it’s hot we eat lighter and tonight we had a perfect wilted spinach salad using our red wattle pastured organic beacon , our pastured organic fresh farm eggs and our heirloom onions perfect for a hot day dinner....

Farm seed saving

Last year we opened the dead flower pods and tossed them back in pot and here we go we have a bunch of new plants. It’s really rewarding on the farm when you can save seeds and plant again....

Farm container flowers

We were really surprised as to how well carnations do here they did not freeze over winter and are loaded with long stem with multiple buds , and the mums and lavender are coming back nicely. We also have some sort of daisy that gets really big single flowers that froze but is coming back to....
