"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Winter gardens

In the winter we use these cotton sheets to cover our crops from frost anytime our temputures are 40 or less overnight low we cover our crops so they do not suffer frost damage and then uncover as soon as it hits forty degrees in the mornings, it's a lot of work but so worth it to get all these...

On the menu tonight

Harvested some salad greens along with Georgia jet sweet potatoes and some cranberry red potatoes and I think I'll go pick up a nice primerib for the protein...

First frost

We have had our first couple days of frost this is the organic chicken pasture and it was frozen our farm transitioned fast this year I am heading out to harvest the green tomatoes and cut down the plants getting ready to plant more onions and garlic in their place...

Covering our crops

its that time of the year when it is within five degrees from freezing we have to cover our crops we use pure cotton sheets we have to cover and use stones to hold it down then when it warms up to 40 degrees we uncover all the crops so they can enjoy the sunshine .
