"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Beans planted

well we are hedging our bet but that is what we have to do in our desert. Beans should not be planted until last frost which is April 15 and yet we are in the mid 80's for the next ten days and if we wait until April 15 it gets to hot to fast for beans and peas so here we go let's see if they...

Compost tea

We made compost tea using our farm goods . We use our fresh worm castings, some of our farm organic alfalfa, some organic molasses , and some Thor gen sea kelp together with we bubble for 24 hours and then water our seedlings and boy do they love the tea....

Seedlings

We have 111 seedlings growing and they are all doing well, they are summer crops of many varities of heirloom tomatoes, peppers ,and eggplant and we are busy getting the garden beds ready. We do not transplant until after April 15 to try and avoid any last frosts....

Roxy our sow

we cleaned some of our overgrown garden beds and Roxy is enjoying all the fresh vegetables . We have no waste on the farm between the chickens, pigs, and compost we use all the left over gardens....
