We had a hatching of hiertage turkey chicks , we let them hatch in the wilds of the farm where ever mama makes a nest and then we carefully take them away into the safety of a brooder until they get some feathers. If we let mama take them they tend to roam the whole farm and the little ones cannot...

We had a great time harvesting our gardens . We start out writing down what we planted and where then we forget all about it and get total surprised at we we grew, it is a lot of fun to find surprises in the gardens....

one of his favorite things to do is to go pick it up the news paper. We only revive the local news paper twice a week and all we have to do is say pick it up and Sam will jump up from a dead sleep running full blast to the door....

we have our root crop beds with potaoes, sweet potatoes, sun chokes, onions,shallots, and garlic as well as our herb gardens and Zinfandel vineyards always have plenty of work but it comes with many rewards....
