"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Job almost complete

We worked as a team and killed 13 baby rats, all as I was screaming and Victoria the 14 year old black poodle was trying to eat them. All in a days work on the farm....

Farm task today

Being that Shimi our 19 year old cat has retired it's time we clean the clutter out of the barn. We have been experiencing a rodent problem. We here our resident halwks and owls getting them early in the mornings....

We saved Shimi. With chicken

Shimi was wild on the farm she would jump a fence 4 feet high with a jack rabbit twice her size all with one front arm, that was her diet and last year she retired from hunting when she was so ill and would not eat we went to the store and bought some organic chicken thighs . We had to chop them up...

Pretty stormy here on the farm

It was kinda Erie here on the farm sun glow clouds thunder and rain . We always welcome rain here. Victoria our 14 year old standard poodle not so much I put cotton balls in her ears gave her benidril turned the tv up .But what can I say wonderful views always changing with nature....

Shimi is back to health

Boy this time was pretty though. First Shimi was throwing up and really sick took her to the vet they had to gas her so she didn't kill them. We had X-rays bold test and everything we could UT infection so that was okay got her meads. Then three weeks later abscess I had to soak her in Edson salt...
