This year we decided to try and grow our own root stock from our farm vines we tried both soil and water and it seems water is working out the best. Vineyards are difficult as it takes several years to get a harvest and the vines periodically die and buying transplants some times just do not grow....

We have been building our planters by cover crops and rotating crops using compost and worm castings for about five years now and we have about 40 seedlings growing under lights right now exciting time of the year for us....
