"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Farm compost

The compost piles are doing very well. We finished burning all our wood piles and a lot of pine needles and added the ash to our compost . Potash from the ashes is really good for the gardens and turns out cut worms do not like ashes. So burning our wood cleaned up the farm , got rid of hiding...

She is getting old at 13 years ,but she still insists on working the farm. She cannot keep up with us but always has our back.she is a little slow and has to sit and watch us work ,but always lets us know she is there if we need her backup .she has chased many coyotes off our farm and has single...

Farm is dark

Our nephew Jimmy went home to lake almanor , Ca after spending the winter on the farm helping us and it is so dark in our casita . We and our animals will miss him ....

Farm eggs

Oh boy we are starting to get our farm eggs again. We missed them so much as we had to purchase eggs over the holidays . We know how good they are now and we appreciate the gold creamy , wonderful taste. We also understand the difference of real pastured ,organic ,free range eggs....
