"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

So much for solar weed control

Sometimes we don’t know if we should cry of laugh, we choose to laugh most of the time. Well we tried to kill some weeds with plastic and turn off the water and it turned out to be a green house with just enough rain to really grow some good weeds. The good thing is the majority is grasses and...

We had left overs tonight

We used our wayguy beef with our farm grown stir fry mix topped with a farm fresh pastured egg and barnaise sauce with the asparagus and mushroom left overs....

Our seedling table has a story

Michael had a client that was a cabinet maker and Ken would buy a piece of land here and there and build spec houses that he would list with Michael and he built this table for his shop. Ken and his family moved out of state and Ken left the table for the new owners who happen to be race car driver...

Seedlings are germinating

It’s like Christmas , we planted our seedlings last Sunday and we already have life. Genovese basil, and Tim’s black ruffles tomato plants are the first to germinate and happen to be some of our farm favorites....
